De EU Ministerraad heeft onlangs een wijziging goedgekeurd met betrekking tot de huidige btw-regels voor e-commerce langeafstandsverkopen. De wijziging is gepland om in te gaan vanaf het jaar 2021<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Volgens de huidige btw-regels zijn dergelijke verkopen aan particuliere consumenten – bij overschrijding van een bepaalde drempel – onderworpen aan lokale BTW regels van het land van de consument, in het geval de webshop ook zorgt voor de verzending van de goederen. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dit leidt tot zware administratieve lasten voor e-commerce (web) winkels, aangezien zij zich voor BTW-doeleinden moeten registreren bij de lokale belastingautoriteiten in alle landen waar hun klanten wonen en zij alle specifieke lokale btw-wetten moeten naleven om hun btw te voldoen.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Vanaf 2021 mogen de e-commerce winkels alle buitenlandse btw betalen aan uitsluitend de belastingautoriteiten in hun eigen land van vestiging<\/strong>. Dit zal resulteren in een verlaging van de administratieve lasten<\/strong> in vergelijking met de huidige regelgeving. De verschillende buitenlandse btw-tarieven blijven hierbij evenwel van toepassing. <\/span><\/p>\n

De reeds bestaande ‘MOSS<\/strong>‘ (mini one-stop-shop) regulering voor bijvoorbeeld telecomdiensten zal van toepassing zijn op e-commerce lange afstandsverkopen<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Een e-commerce winkel die zich in Nederland bevindt, kan de MOSS-archivering elektronisch uitvoeren via de website van de Nederlandse belastingdienst of via commerci\u00eble btw-software<\/strong> van hun financi\u00eble tussenpersoon<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
